Two Iowa Seniors Plan To Move On

Iowa kicker Keith Duncan says it is time to move on. The All-American will be one of 22 seniors honored prior to Saturday’s game against Wisconsin.

Because of NCAA rules regarding the pandemic, Duncan could return for a sixth year.

Duncan hopes to land a job in the NFL. A finals for the Lou Groza Award last year, Duncan is 12 of 16 in field goal attempts this season.

Senior linebacker Nick Niemann does not plan on taking advantage of the extra year.

Niemann watched his older brother, Ben, played for the Hawkeyes and now his father, Jay, is a member of the coaching staff.
