Cedar Falls, Iowa — The Northern Iowa basketball team gets an early start on the Missouri Valley Conference race Wednesday night with a visit to Bradley.
The Panthers are 2-3 after a 90-80 win at nationally ranked St. Bonaventure and coach Ben Jacobson credits improved passing for the better numbers on offense.
Jacobson says it feels odd to start the league race this early.
Bradley has struggle in a 2-5 start but Jacobson says the Braves played well in their last outing in a 71-39 win over Maine.
Jacobson says conference games are a different challenge.
