UNI vs USD Preview

Northern Iowa coach Mark Farley says the Panthers are working to fix their run defense heading into this week’s game at South Dakota.

The Panthers gave up 344 yards on the ground in a 56-31 loss to top ranked North Dakota State.

Farley believes the defense will make strides.

Farley says there were some positives from the game even though the Bison took control by outscoring the Panthers 28-0 in the fourth quarter.

Farley says the most improved group right now is the receiving corps.

South Dakota is 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the Missouri Valley race.

Kick off is at 6:00 pm at the DakotaDome in Vermillion.
