Adam Viet, a senior at Unity Christian High School, has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender soccer program.
Viet has scored 24 goals and assisted on 14 in 47 games played for the Knights and helped the Knights to a conference championship in 2016. Viet has earned all-conference honors three times entering his senior season. A multi-sport athlete, Viet earned District Punter of the Year honors this past season, was named to the Academic All-State team and was a Iowa Class 1A All-State Third-Team selection.
“Adam is a great athlete, and works very hard. He fits in great with our guys. Adam is also a great fit for Dordt College, on many levels. We are thrilled that Adam has decided on Dordt College,” said Dordt College associate head soccer coach Craig Stiemsma.
Adam is the son of Jim and Mandy Viet of Hawarden, Iowa. He plans to study Chemistry at Dordt College.
