Training camp continues for the Minnesota Vikings as they begin to ramp up toward more football-related activities next week.
For now, much of what they are doing is strength and conditioning, offensive and defensive walk-throughs, and meeting time. Starting left tackle Riley Reiff says the offensive line is trying to build some chemistry as fast as it can to make up for lost time. The team did not meet for mini-camps or OTA’s, so the line needs to get time on the field.
Reiff, who is a South Dakota native and played college ball at Iowa, is entering his ninth season in the NFL and his fourth with Minnesota. He says he has taken on more of a leadership role this off-season to help several of the young offensive linemen get acclimated to the NFL.
