IHSBCA 2020 All-State Baseball Teams Announced

The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association (IHSBCA) 2020 All-State Baseball Teams have been announced. There is no Super Team this year due to COVID-19.

The Northwest Iowa area is once again well represented especially Class 1A State qualifier Remsen St Mary’s. The 1A All State First Team is captained by junior Blaine Harpenau who anchors the pitching staff. He is joined on the first team by his senior catcher  Skyler Waldschmitt.

Named to the 1A Second team were Remsen St. Mary’s junior Jeremy Koenck  and freshman Jaxon Bunkers. Also named to the second team was Hinton junior Tate Linton.

In Class 2A State qualifier West Lyon put five players on the 2A squads. Named to the first team was senior catcher Gavin Lorenzen. Earning spots on the second team were senior Jalyn Gramstad and junior Jackson Kramer. Named to the third team were seniors Logan Meyer and Josh Van Beek.

In Class 3A MOC Floyd Valley had two players named to the All State Third team. They were seniors Colton Korver and Adam DeBoer.
