Hull, Iowa — The Western Christian Wolfpack used a series of first half runs to cruise to a 61-28 win over East Sac County Thursday night in Hull.
Western jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead and closed the first quarter out on a 12-0 run to lead 21-8. Western went on another 12-0 run to the end the first half and pulled away 33-10. Western pushed the score to 50-17 after three and went on to win 61-28.
Western got a game high 20 points from Ty Van Essen. East Sac County got a team high 13 points from Tyler Schmitt.
With the win, Western improves to 21-1 on the year and will face Cherokee next Tuesday at Sioux City North. East Sac County ends their season at 10-13.
