Coach Derek Keizer had this to say about the game, “Jansen and Van Kalsbeek are two very nice players that use their size very well and I thought we put forth a great team effort of containing those two from having a big night. I was very pleased with our defensive execution for most of the night.

We took care of the ball, having only four turnovers all night which allowed us to get more possessions. On a given night where we are not shooting the ball particularly well, we need all the possessions we can get.

Dyson Kooima had a nice night for us – He is continuing to gain some confidence in his play and picking spots where he can attack and make a difference for our team.”

Again, Western swept the varsity double-header from MOC-Floyd Valley Tuesday night at Western, with the Wolfpack girls taking the win 42-32, and the Wolfpack boys taking the nightcap 53-49.
