Hull, Iowa –A new construction project will begin in Hull late in the summer.
Fareway has announced in a recent press release that they are coming to Hull. Construction for the building will begin this summer and they are aiming to open in the spring of 2024. The Fareway building will be about 10,600 square feet and will be located at the southwest corner of Highway 18 and Division Street in Hull.
Fareway CEO Reynolds W. Cramer says the company is looking forward to serving the people of Hull. He says Fareway’s goal is to offer high-quality products and low prices. He says the store will offer high-quality meat, a full-service meat counter, farm-fresh produce, competitive prices, and a high level of customer service. The new Fareway store will also offer Fast Lanes and online shopping, which will be available at shop.fareway.com, according to Cramer.
Hull Mayor Arlan Moss says the city of Hull is excited to have Fareway come into their town. He says the city has been waiting for a local grocery store with great customer service and small-town values.
Fareway currently has 134 stores in seven states. Fareway is family-owned and recognized as a top 10 employer in Iowa with more than 12,000 employees. Fareway will be closing on the property in Hull soon.
