Digital Services Town Hall In Sheldon April 26th

Sheldon, Iowa — If you have any ideas on how funds should be spent on digital services, your day to be heard is coming.

Dr. Matt Behrens, who is the Chief Information Officer at the Iowa Department of Management, says his office is holding a town hall meeting at NCC at 6 p.m. on April 26th.

He explains there are two plans the State of Iowa must submit this year; one is about broadband infrastructure, while the other one is about digital services. Behrens says his office will be going to 55 communities in Iowa to hold town hall meetings.

Behrens says that people should have a say in how funds are spent on digital services as it affects all of their lives every day.

He says everyone who wants to be heard needs to come to this meeting with a list of ideas or issues they have experienced.

The Town Hall Meeting is on Wednesday, April 26th at 6 p.m. in the NCC campus building A.
