The City Of Sheldon Is In The Process Of Repairing Potholes

Sheldon, Iowa — This year’s winter dumped a ton of snow on northwest Iowa. Add that to several freeze and thaw cycles, and the potholes are starting to appear in Sheldon.

The Sheldon Public Works Director, Todd Uhl, says his crew has already done one round throughout Sheldon to fill potholes, but they are in a holding pattern for now.

He says once they have more cold mix, his crew plans to continue patching potholes throughout town. He says he expects the potholes to be worse than normal.

So when the street crews are out, be patient if they are working on a street you’re driving on.
