Rock Valley, Iowa — Two suspects have been apprehended in connection with the theft of a motorcycle and an ATV, both of which were returned the day after being stolen.
Sioux County authorities say they have charged 19-year old Christopher Blumeyer, of Hawarden, and a 17-year old male juvenile from Luverne, Minnesota on connection with last week’s theft of a Honda motorcycle, and Polaris ATV from a rural residence nine miles southwest of Rock Valley.
Deputies say their investigation revealed that Blumeyer and the juvenile allegedly unlawfully took the vehicles from the owner, opearted them without permission, then later returned them by placing them on a gravel road near the owner’s property.
Authorities have charged Blumeyer with Trespassing and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without The Owner’s Consent. The juvenile was reportedly cited into Juvenile Court for Operating a Motor Vehicle Without The Owner’s Consent.

Rock Valley, Iowa — Monday morning (January 8th) the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate the theft of a motorcycle and an ATV from a residence southwest of Rock Valley.
Tuesday, the owners of the vehicles reported that both vehicles were returned by the perpetrators, according to authorities. Deputies say the vehicles were parked on a gravel road near the victim’s reidence.
If you saw any suspicious activity where someone was handling these vehicles in areas southwest of Rock Valley sometime between the evening of Monday, January 8, and the early morning of Tuesday, January 9, you are asked to contact the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.

Rock Valley, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of an ATV from southwest of Rock Valley.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, Monday morning (January 8th) at 8:20 am they received a report of a theft from a residence nine miles southwest of Rock Valley.
Authorities say their investigation revealed that someone had recently entered onto the property and made off with a 2002 Honda XR80 motorcycle, and an orange Polaris Sportsman 570cc ATV.
