Hospers, Iowa — An Orange City man has been arrested following a Monday night incident in Hospers.
Sioux County authorities tell us that Monday night at 9:45, deputies arrested 20-year old Luis Saldana of Orange City.
Deputies say the arrest stemmed from a report of an assault that occurred at a residence in Hospers. According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation into the incident indicated that Saldana had entered the residence and allegedly assaulted the victim.
According to authorities, Saldana was charged with: 3rd Degree Burglary, a Class D Felony; and Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a Serious Misdemeanor.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Orange City Police Department.
