Northwest Iowa — Customers of MidAmerican Energy will be seeing what appears to be a new charge on their bills, beginning in January.

In addition, MidAmerican Energy customers will see a new monthly bill format beginning in January. MidAmerican has redesigned the bill, based on customer input, to make it easier to understand monthly energy use and charges.
