Sheldon United Fund Needs Almost $7000 To Finish On Goal

Sheldon, Iowa — Donations to the 2017 Sheldon United Fund are behind pace to finish on goal and will need some significant year-end donations if the goal is to be met.

The drive continues through the rest of the year. The goal this year is $31,000.

The fund drive is now 86% finished. The funds are at about 78% of goal, at $24,057. Almost $7000 has yet to be raised. To finish on goal, the drive now needs to average about $3750 per week through the rest of the year. In the last week, donors gave $1290.

Contributions to any or all of the organizations served by the Sheldon United Fund may be left at five locations in Sheldon: Citizens State Bank, Iowa State Bank, Northstar Community Credit Union, Northwestern Bank, and Peoples Bank, or you can also send them to PO Box 41, Sheldon, IA 51201. Explanations of the organizations are also available at the dropoff points.

The United Fund will be assisting 26 different organizations in Sheldon and the surrounding communities this year, and they thank you for your contribution.
