Keep Your Heating Bills Lower This Winter

Sheldon, Iowa — While our forecast for almost all of next week is for mild temperatures, the forecast for the period six to ten days from now calls for BELOW normal temperatures and ABOVE normal precipitation. Sounds like it might be a good time to make sure you’re getting all you can get — as efficiently as possible — from your furnace.

We talked to Adam Jacobi from MidAmerican Energy, and he gave us a few tips on how to keep your heating bills low this winter.


Jacobi says they also suggest lowering the setpoint on your thermostat when you’re sleeping or not at home.
