Sioux Center Teen Taken To Hospital After Accident

Sioux Center, Iowa — A Sioux Center teen was injured in an accident on Friday, November 2 near Sioux Center.

The Iowa State Patrol reports that about 5:35 PM, 17-year-old Lincoln Rus was eastbound on 380th Street, two miles east of Sioux Center’s north side in a 2002 Buick.

The report says Rus lost control on the gravel and the car proceeded into the north ditch, rolled and came to rest on the driver’s side in a bean field.

Rus was taken to Sioux Center Community Hospital by Sioux Center Ambulance.

Rus’s Buick received $5000 damage.
