Friday Broadcast Game Preview October 7th

footballNorthwest Iowa — Week seven of the high school football season finds the Sheldon Orabs at home to host Sioux Center. Sheldon is coming off a loss to Estherville Lincoln Central last Friday. Sioux Center posted a win over MOC Floyd Valley. The Orabs are 3-3 for the season and 1-3 in the district. The Warriors come in at 3-3 on the year but are 2-2 in district play.

The Sioux Center running game definitely has the attention of the Orabs.

That’s Sheldon Head Coach Tyler Lloyd. The keys to a win center on ball security and forcing turnovers.

Sioux Center Head Coach Tim Van Regenmorter is impressed with the Orab offense.

Keys to a Warrior win also center around turnovers along with red zone defense.

Kory Roos joins LA for the call on KIWA AM 1550.

Boyden Hull Rock Valley travels to MOC Floyd Valley coming off a homecoming win over Cherokee. MOC Floyd Valley fell to Sioux Center last week. The Nighthawks are unbeaten in the district at 4-0 and 5-1 for the season. The Dutch stand at 1-3 in the district and 1-5 for the season.

Nighthawks Head Coach Corey Brandt is impressed with the all out effort of the Dutch.

Getting off to a quick start will be important.

The Nighthawks play at the line of scrimmage impresses MOC Floyd Valley Head Coach Greg Hegsted.

Hegsted feels creating big plays on offense and keeping them to a minimum on defense will be the big key for the Dutch.

Jon and Justin have the coverage on KIWA FM 105.3. Pregame for both begins with the Radio Iowa Scouting Report at 6:05. Kick off is set for 7:00.
