The Jaguars struck first by taking their first drive 64 yards in 3:22. The drive was capped off by a Hunter Kruse touchdown pass to Nyles Johnson from 16 yards out. After the failed 2-point conversion, it was 6-0 Southeast Valley. The Nighthawks quick strike offense answered right away with a 1 play, 66 yard drive when JT Van’t Hul found Cody Post on the screen play that went the distance to make it 6-6 after the missed extra point. From then on it was all BHRV.

Late in the first quarter, working with a short field, JT Van’t Hul capped off the driver with a 10-yard touchdown run to make it 13-6. Early in the second quarter, JT Van’t Hul once again found pay dirt while working with another short field. This time from 17 yards out, and it was 20-6. The following Nighthawk drive went 72 yards and was capped off by a Beau De Jongh catch and run from 24 yards out to make it 27-6. BHRV pushed the score to 34-6 late in the first half. Once again working with a short field it was Elliott Van Kekerix punching it in from 1 yard out, and that would be your halftime score.

Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley added two more scores in the second half and came away with the 48-6 win and advance to the UNI-Dome for the third straight year and will play defending 2A state champion Waukon Indians at 4 pm on Saturday, November 10th. Waukon defeated Algona 24-21.
