Little Rock will host the 79th Annual Corn Show August 26th through 30th, celebrating this year’s theme, “Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom.” Camper hookups are available at Town & Country Park and City Park.
Wednesday, August 26:
Cruise Night down Main Street from 6 to 8 p.m., and the Lyon County Pork Producers Feed under the tent from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, August 27:
Crop and produce entries from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Town & Country Club Building, and BINGO at Old City Hall from 7 to 9 p.m. with cash prizes.
Friday, August 28:
The Little Rock Queen Contest at 5:30 p.m. under the Corn Show tent, button drawings for hundreds of prizes at 7 p.m., and the T & C Building open for viewing from 1:30 to 7 p.m. Carnival rides open at 5 p.m. and run to closing.
Saturday, August 29:
Vendor Fair on the east side of the T & C Building from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again 3 to 6 p.m.; Pedal Pull at 10:30 a.m.; Pork Dinner at City Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; the 26th Annual Golf Ball Roll at 1:30 p.m.; Corn Show Parade at 2 p.m. (rain date 5 p.m.); entertainment under the tent with The Ebel Family from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.; and button drawings at 7 p.m. Carnival rides open after the parade to closing.
Sunday, August 30:
Omelet/German Pancake Brunch at City Hall from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Joint Church Service under the tent at 10 a.m.; Show & Shine Car Show from 1 to 4:30 p.m.; Volleyball Tournament at noon; Bean Bag Tournament at 1 p.m.; and Tractor Show at 1 p.m., all at T & C Park, with food available on the grounds.
