Heritage Village in Sioux Center will host its annual Harvest Festival on Friday and Saturday, September 18th and 19th, with free admission from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
The festival brings local history to life through preserved and recreated buildings, hands‑on demonstrations, and living displays that reflect three centuries of prairie and pioneer life.
Visitors can experience farmhouse and town‑house living, lessons in a schoolhouse, threshing and butter churning, a large vintage tractor collection, and business demonstrations including a blacksmith and working sawmill. More than 700 students will tour the village on Friday, and Saturday adds live music and expanded activities for all ages.
Heritage Village is located at Tower Fields, 701 2nd Avenue SW in Sioux Center.
