1 PM – Parade
Typical entries are the color guard, antique vehicles, and community service vehicles. Kids enjoy collecting the candy that is tossed to them!
Following Parade – Auction
The day concludes with an action-packed auction! Rich Vander Werff runs a fun auction with donated items that often command ridiculously high bids. All proceeds go to the church and help fund the various causes and missions of the church.
Lord’s Acre Day is a time of fun and fellowship. It is a time to give thanks to God for our harvest and our multitude of blessings. All are invited to join in the fun! Lord’s Acre Day was developed as a day for farmers to donate an acre’s worth of grain to the church. It continues to be a cornerstone of Archer United Methodist’s annual fund raising.
