The Melvin Fire Department will be having its 9th-annual cook-off at De Graaf County Park in Melvin on Aug. 24th.
It is open to all cookers with a $25 per Meat Category Entry Fee | $10 Appetizer/Dessert Entry Fee
** Please register at the Firemen’s tent from 8am-10am! **
Cook- Off Categories Include: Pork | Beef | A Mystery Meat | Appetizers | Desserts
All meat category entries will be provided; the mystery meat entry will be revealed at 9am!
Cook-Off Judging: Official entry times will be assigned at time of registration.
Appetizers and Desserts will be judged at 2pm.
All appetizer entries must be served as finger-food, no silverware required.
Meat Categories will begin judging at 4pm.
Cash Prizes/ Trophies to Top 3 in Meat Categories
and Cash Prize to top in both Appetizers & Desserts!!

Carry Out option will be available.
