Monarchs, Milkweeds, and You

Join local nature enthusiast, John Buntsma, on Saturday, Sept 24 from 9:30-10:30am for a pollinator walk at Oak Grove followed by an indoor nature program at the Prairie Woods Nature Center. Some topic discussions will be: types of native milkweeds; how to obtain plants and seeds; as well as other desirable pollinator plants. Chemicals and other dangers to monarchs as well as life cycle, migration patterns, and environmental and diet situations will be discussed.
