The Okoboji Summer Theatre will close its 68th season with “9 to 5: The Musical,” running August 4th through 9th.
Based on the iconic 1980 film, the show features Dolly Parton’s Tony‑nominated score and tells the hilarious, empowering story of three women who take charge of their workplace and turn the tables on their sexist boss. Directed by OST Artistic Director Bernard Monroe, the production includes a cast of nearly twenty artists, led by Stephens College Conservatory students and guest artist Sean Birkett, with appearances by resident actor Rob Doyen, local actor Finn Donovan, and Signe Kim Lauridsen Jones.
Curtain times are Tuesday through Saturday at 8 p.m., with a Saturday matinee at 4:30 p.m. and a Sunday performance at 6 p.m. (No Thursday evening show.)
