Torray and Erin Wilson, of Paullina, will be hosting a Practical Farmers of Iowa (PFI) field day about dairy farming. The event is free to attend and open to the public. More information about the field day is below and full details can be found on the event‘s webpage.
Dairy Grazing, Silvopasture and Compost
Torray and Erin Wilson are part of the third generation on the Wilson farm. Each family member active in the farm is responsible for a different crop or livestock enterprise. Torray and Erin operate the grass-based dairy, selling milk to Organic Valley since 2016. They both have training in Holistic Management and continue to find those insights helpful in managing the complexity of the farm and family.
Lunch will follow the field day.
