Sioux County Conservation will host a Fall Birding Walk on Tuesday, September 15th from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Big Sioux Recreation Area in Hawarden.
Guest instructor Tucker Lutter of the Loess Hills Audubon Society will join a Sioux County Conservation Naturalist for a morning of bird watching during the early fall migration, a prime time to spot a wide variety of species moving through the area.
Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars or a bird guide if they have them. Meet at the Bird Watching Blind after parking at either the swimming beach or the Eagle View Campground comfort station. Pre‑registration is appreciated but not required, and park passes are waived during program hours. Sign‑up is available at siouxcountyparks.org.
