Orange City, Iowa — An Alton man faces felony charges after his arrest Saturday by the Orange City Police Department.
According to a report from the Orange City Police Department, their officers were called shortly after midnight Saturday morning, to the report of burglary that had just occurred at an Orange City Residence.
The report says that upon further investigation, 29-year-old Pedro Juan Torres-Garcia of Alton was arrested for allegedly entering the residence unwanted and uninvited, and is accused of assaulting a female victim inside the residence.
Authorities say Torres-Garcia was transported to the Sioux County Jail, charged with 1st Degree Burglary, Domestic Assault with Bodily Injury, and Violation of a No-Contact Order.
According to Sioux County Jail logs, Torres-Garcia remained in jail, in lieu of a $15,000 bond, at late morning Monday (March 16th)
