Hawarden, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find the identity of a driver who got into an accident near Hawarden on Sunday, November 17th.
They report that on that morning, at about 7:50 a.m., their deputies investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 12, three miles south of Hawarden.
An unidentified person was driving a 2016 Ford F-150 northbound on Highway 12, when they lost control of the vehicle, which entered the west ditch and struck a ditch embankment. The driver left the area without reporting the accident to law enforcement.
The Ford sustained approximately $9,000 in damage.
