Former School Bus Driver Pleads Not Guilty To Child Sex Charges

Milford, Iowa — A former school bus driver who was arrested last month on a trio of sex-related charges has pled not guilty in Dickinson County court.

According to online court records, 71-year-old Steven Titterington of Milford is charged with: 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse, a Class C Felony; Sexual Exploitation by a School Employee, a Class D Felony; and Child Endangerment, an Aggravated Misdemeanor.

Authorities say the charges stem from Titterington allegedly having indecent contact with a child last November, while employed as a bus driver for Okoboji Community Schools.

A Pretrial Conference in the case has been scheduled for 9:30 am on Tuesday, April 12th, with Titterington’s trial scheduled to begin at 9:30 am on Thursday, May 12th in Dickinson County District Court at Spirit Lake, according to online court records.
