Boyden, Iowa — A two-vehicle accident near Boyden late Thursday afternoon (April 9th) sent a George teen to the hospital.

According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, the mishap took place shortly before 5:30 Thursday afternoon, two miles east of Boyden on Highway 18. The Buick sustained approximately $1,000 in damage. The Nissan sustained an estimated $5,000 in damage.

Deputies say Escalera was cited for following too closely.
