Hartley Man Arrested On Child Sex Abuse Charges

Hartley, Iowa — A Hartley man was arrested Sunday (March 27th) on multiple child sex abuse-related charges dating back as far as 2020.

According to court records, 35-year-old Nicholas Paul William Stallmann is charged with: one count of 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse, a Class B Felony; one count of Child Endangerment with Bodily Injury, a Class D Felony; two counts of Child Endangerment and three counts of Indecent Contact with a Child, both of which are Aggravated Misdemeanors.

Court records indicate the charges are related to incidents in which Stallmann allegedly had sexual contact with a 5-year-old child.

A Preliminary Hearing is the case is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6th.
