O’Brien County, Iowa — A Hartley man escaped injury after striking a deer in the evening hours of Tuesday, October 4th.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 6:50 pm on Tuesday, 64-year-old Donald Harder of Hartley was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox westbound on B20. According to the report, Harder struck a deer on the roadway.
The Chevrolet received $10,000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
