Iowa State Patrol: Stretch Of Road Where Fatal ILCC Bus Crash Occurred Has History Of Bad Accidents

Estherville, Iowa (KUOO) – Authorities say the stretch of road where this past Wednesday’s fatal crash involving an Iowa Lakes Community College bus has a history of being dangerous.

Speaking during a press conference this past Thursday, Lieutenant Aaron Smidt of the Iowa State Patrol says the location of the crash on Highway 4 about a mile and-a-half north of Highway 20 in Calhoun county has a history of bad accidents.

Lieutenant Smidt emphasized the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
