Le Mars Man Injured In Alton Rollover Crash

Alton, Iowa — One person was injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident that happened on Highway 10 in Alton late Tuesday evening.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 10:30 Tuesday evening, a 2007 Cadillac Escalade SUV, driven by 22-year-old Jeremy Davis of Le Mars, was eastbound on Highway 10, when he lost control of the vehicle, entered the north ditch, struck a concrete bridge support pillar and rolled.

Deputies say Davis was transported by the Alton Ambulance to Orange City Area Health for treatment of his injuries

The Cadillac sustained approximately $8,000 in damage.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Orange City Police Department, Alton Fire Department and Alton Ambulance.

Authorities say the accident remains under investigation.
