Rock Rapids, Iowa — A Rock Rapids woman faces a felony charge after a traffic stop near that town on Saturday, September 21st.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that one of their deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 9 and Ironwood Avenue, four miles east of Rock Rapids. As a result, 50-year-old Tammi Kremin of Rock Rapids was arrested and was charged with Operating While Intoxicated, Third Offense, a Class D Felony. Kremin was also charged with failure to yield half of the roadway and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, both simple misdemeanors.
They tell us Kremin was transported to the Lyon County Jail where she was later released on an unsecured bond.
