Rock Valley, Iowa — A Rock Valley teen was injured after her vehicle rolled near Rock Valley on Saturday, June 24th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that just before 8:30 pm on Saturday, 15-year-old Mikayla Kooima of Rock Valley was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer eastbound on 330th Street, two miles south of Rock Valley. According to the report, Kooima lost control of the vehicle, entered the south ditch and rolled into a cornfield.
The Trailblazer received $8,000 damage.
Kooima reported minor injuries but decline further medical attention.
