Rock Valley, Iowa — A Rock Valley teen suffered minor injuries Thursday afternoon in single-vehicle rollover near Rock Valley.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, about 4:15 Thursday afternoon, 16-year old Larinda Van Beek, of Rock Valley, was westbound on 315th Street, three miles southwest of Rock Valley, when she lost control of the vehicle, entered the north ditch and rolled.
Deputies say Van Beek was transported by private vehicle to Hegg Memorial Hospital in Rock Valley for treatment of minor injuries.
The Buick sustained approximately $8,500 in damage. Van Beek was cited for failing to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
