Rock Valley, Iowa — A Rock Valley teen was taken to the hospital after an accident on the edge of Rock Valley on Saturday, December 5, 2020.
The Rock Valley Police Department reports that about 10:30 p.m., 18-year-old Jose Sanchez of Rock Valley was driving a 2002 Oldsmobile westbound on 300th Street in Rock Valley.
The report says that the vehicle went off the roadway and collided with a light pole at the intersection of Rock River Bluff Road.
The Rock Valley Ambulance took Sanchez to Hegg Health Center Hospital in Rock Valley.
Sanchez’s Oldsmobile sustained $7000 in damages, and the light pole, owned by Northwest REC, sustained about $3000 damage, according to the report.
