Sutherland, Iowa — A Royal woman was taken to a hospital after an accident near Sutherland recently.
According to the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office, on August 28, 2020 at about 6:45 p.m., 56-year-old Jenny Lynn Baier of Royal was driving a 2012 Ford Fusion eastbound on 455th Street when she apparently missed the curve at Yew Avenue, about four and a quarter miles northeast of Sutherland.
According to the sheriff’s office, the airbags deployed.
The Sutherland Ambulance took Baier to the Spencer Hospital. The report says she may have had a broken arm.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says the accident remains under investigation.
