Sheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon man faces charges following an investigation by the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Sioux County authorities, they received a complaint that a man was allegedly using someone else’s identity to gain employment at Premium Iowa Pork of Hospers.
Following an investigation, deputies say they arrested 34-year old Wilmar Maldanado of Sheldon, shortly before 8:30 Monday morning. Authorities say Maldanado is charged with Identity Theft and Forgery, both of which are Class D Felonies.
At last report, Maldanado was being held in the Sioux County Jail, in lieu of $5-thousand bond.
