Sheldon Woman Charged With Four Drug-Related Counts

Sheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon woman was arrested Friday on four felony charges stemming from a May 1st incident.

According to court documents, on May 1st, the Iowa Department of Human Services tested 33-year-old Tiffany May McKee, of Sheldon, along with two minor children, for methamphetamine. Court records indicate that the tests came back positive.

On Friday, June 16th, authorities say McKee was arrested on warrants charging her with: two counts of Neglect or Abandonment of Dependent Persons, a Class C Felony; along with two counts of Child Endangerment due to Meth Exposure, which a Class D Felony.

According to court documents, McKee was released on bail.

A Preliminary Hearing in the case is scheduled for Tuesday, June 27th, in O’Brien County Magistrate Court.
