Sheriff’s Office Asking For Help Finding Pickup In Trespassing Case

Boyden, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help to try to solve a trespassing case that occurred near Boyden this week.

Sheriff’s officials tell us that on Wednesday, September 26, just before 8:30 p.m., their deputies investigated a report of trespassing that occurred at a farm property on 350th Street, three miles southeast of Boyden.

They say the property owners told them that a red 2008 to 2010 Chevrolet or GMC pickup was on the property when the owners arrived. When the property owner approached the vehicle, the pickup fled the property and drove eastbound on 350th Street. They were told that the pickup did not have license plates and had a white decal on the driver’s side rear window of a longhorn.

They were told that the vehicle may also have some damage on the rear.

If you have any information about this vehicle or the owner, you are asked to contact the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
