Sibley, Iowa — A Sibley man’s vehicle was damaged after rear-ending a trailer near Sibley in the evening hours of Saturday, October 22nd.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 8:00 pm on Saturday, 55-year-old Michael Block of Sibley was driving a 2001 Dodge Ram hauling trailers of round bales westbound on 170th Street, west of Sibley. Forty-year-old Arvin Krahlin of Sibley was driving a 2015 Nissan Murano behind Block. According to the report, Krahling was unable to see the Block vehicle due to the lack of lights and orange sign on the back of the vehicle and rear ended the Dodge.
The Nissan received $2,500 damage.
No injuries were reported.
