Sanborn, Iowa — A Hartley woman escaped injury after striking a deer near Sanborn on Saturday, October 22nd.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 7:44 am on Saturday, 55-year-old Betty Harms of Hartley was driving a 2013 Ford Expedition east of Sanborn. According to the report, Harms struck a deer on the roadway.
The Ford received $5,500 damage.
No injuries were reported.
