Sioux County, Iowa — Two vehicles were damaged in an accident on Friday, November 18th near Sioux Center.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 4:26 pm, 42-year-old Guadalupe Nuno of Orange City was driving a 1998 Dodge Durango westbound on 400th Street, five miles east of Sioux Center. Thirty-seven-year-old Valerio Martin Morales of Sioux Center was driving a 2000 Suzuki GVT eastbound on 400th Street. According to the report, Martin‐Morales crossed the center of the roadway and struck Nuno.
The Dodge received $3000 damage; the Suzuki received $5000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
Sioux Center, Iowa — A Hull woman’s and a Sioux Falls man’s vehicles were damaged in an accident near Sioux Center on Friday, November 18th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 1:05 pm on Friday, 25-year-old Stephanie Miersma of Hull was driving a 2003 GMC Envoy northbound on Highway 75, five miles north of Sioux Center. Thirty-year-old Blake Aspengren of Sioux Falls was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu northbound on Highway 75. According to the report, Miersma lost control of the vehicle and entered the east ditch. The report continues, Aspengren lost control of his vehicle, entered the east ditch and struck Miersma.
The GMC received $1,500 damage. The Chevrolet received $1,500 damage.
No injuries were reported.
Hull, Iowa — A Doon man’s semi-tractor was damaged in an accident on Friday, November 18th, near Hull.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 11:35 am on Friday, 30-year-old Travis Soodsma of Doon was driving a 2003 Peterbilt semi-tractor pulling a livestock trailer northbound on Hickory Avenue, one-half mile north of Hull. According to the report, Soodsma lost control of the semi-tractor and entered the east ditch.
The Peterbilt received $5,000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
Ireton, Iowa — An Ireton man’s vehicle rolled near Ireton on Friday, November 18th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 7:29 am on Friday, 48-year-old Tim Sanow of Ireton was driving a 1998 Ford F-150 pickup on 490th Street, five miles southwest of Ireton. According to the report, Sanow lost control of his vehicle, where it rolled and onto its side.
The Ford received $5,000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
