Spencer Woman Injured In Vehicle Rollover

Little Rock, Iowa — A Spencer woman was taken to the hospital rolling her vehicle east of Little Rock on Friday, June 25th.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports that just before 8:30 a.m. Friday morning, 39-year-old Lisa Marie Harris of Spencer was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt westbound on Highway 9, near Monroe Avenue. According to the report, the Cobalt dropped off the edge of the road, Harris overcorrected the vehicle and lost control. The report states that the Cobalt then rolled into the north ditch and came to rest on its top.

Harris was transported to the Osceola Regional Health Center by the Little Rock Ambulance with what were described as non-incapacitating injuries.

The Chevrolet received $4,500 in damages.

Harris was issued a citation for a charge of Failure to Maintain Control.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, Little Rock Fire Department, Sibley Fire Department, and Sibley Ambulance assisted at the scene, according to the report.
