Orange City, Iowa — A teen was taken to a hospital after an accident on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 near Orange City.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 4:20 p.m., 19-year-old Baily Goebel of Alton was driving a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee in a field, five miles south of Orange City, when he lost control of the vehicle and it rolled.
The Sheriff’s Office says a 17-year-old male passenger in the vehicle became trapped in the vehicle and was extricated by the Orange City Fire Department. The Orange City Ambulance crew took him to the Orange City Health System Hospital.
The report says the Jeep sustained about $5,000 in damage.
