Boyden, Iowa — A two-year-old has died as the result of an accident near Boyden.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, their deputies investigated the fatal accident. They say it occurred at a farm residence on Jay Avenue, one and a half miles southwest of Boyden.
The sheriff’s office tells us that 2-year-old Nathan Klok was in a grove near a tree where family members were cutting down trees, when a tree fell and struck Klok. He sustained severe trauma and died as a result of injuries sustained at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Boyden Ambulance and Boyden Fire Department.
