Sioux Center, Iowa — One woman was taken to the hospital after an accident in Sioux Center on Friday, November 5, 2021.
The Sioux Center Police Department reports that at about 3:10 p.m., a vehicle made a left turn in front of another vehicle at Highway 75 and Tenth Street Southeast. That’s about a block south of the B40 eastbound stoplight on Highway 75.
Sioux Center Police Chief Mike Halma says the woman who made the turn failed to yield. He says the Sioux Center Ambulance took her to Sioux Center Health.
Halma tells us that at last report, further details, including the names of the drivers, were not yet available.
